It took me some time to figure out hwo things are working with Dos-Box and D-Fend. I was facing the same Problem as many others here. Or if you don't want to use the DOSBox command prompt then you can use DOSBox with a Front End (Graphical point+click tool for DOSBox), like D-Fend Reloaded. You should use DOSBox to play the DOS version of PoR. Don't know where you would find that nowadays. There was an old program called Mo'Slo' which slows down old DOS programs. You will have speed issues if you play the game without an emulator (unless you are running a very old OS like Windows 95 or something older). I am having issues with the speed of the game when it plays though. I downloaded POR yesterday and was able to play without downloading any emulator, or making any adjustments to the program. To avoid the error you need to run the install through D-Fend Reloaded (or DOSBox) In the profile and running the game file through D-Fend Reloaded will prompt the Disk 3 error.
